With speculation over the future of manager Maurizio Sarri, we could see The Blues with another manager during the summer. Whoever is in charge will have their work cut out, and their first job once this season is over with is to try and persuade star man Eden Hazard to stay with the club.
Hazard is without a doubt the best player on this team, but constant speculation about him leaving the club has gone to an all-time high. He is apparently on the top of the list of Real Madrid transfer targets for the summer, and if you believe the rumours, he is ready to leave Stamford Bridge and take up a new challenge.
Hazard wants to play Champions League football and win trophies, something that Chelsea cannot offer him right now. There is every chance that Chelsea miss out on the top four, they have failed to win the League Cup, and the only trophy remaining for them is the Europa League. This is not good enough for Hazard, and he is expected to leave Chelsea this summer.
The young Spanish goalkeeper was involved in a bizarre incident during the Carabao Cup final where he refused to be substituted, completely disrespecting his manager Maurizio Sarri. There was a clear issue between player and manager on the field, and despite them both saying that the air has been cleared between them, there is no doubt this will not be forgotten for a long time.
The likelihood of a move away from the club for Arrizabalaga hinges on whether or not Sarri remains at the club. If Sarri departs, the chances of Arrizabalaga leaving are very slim, however if Sarri stays at Chelsea, he may feel that his relationship with the goalkeeper is broken and it would be better if he moved elsewhere.
Currently on loan at Chelsea, Higuain would be allowed to complete a deal with the club for next season and beyond if Chelsea want to. They may be forced into this, with no chance to sign anyone else and he is certainly a name to look out for this summer.
He is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea have two options that they can exercise in the future. The first is they can pay a fee to extend his loan at the club for a further season. The second is they can pay a larger fee and sign the player on a permanent basis. Whatever they choose to do, Chelsea are likely to do something as this is the only player they can sign to a deal due to their transfer ban.
